2018 was a vintage few wish to remember, with seemingly endless dreary days and with our typical number of growing degree day cut by nearly half, this wine exhibits those cooler characteristics. Not a bold rich Petit Verdot that many of us are accustomed to. Instead this wine is a more medium body, with earthy tones and herbal notes. But not at all a green wine. Aged 18 months in all French oak, the tannins are well structured and smooth and the wines carries itself very well.
