The 2019 Petit Verdot is a display in exercising restraint with this variety.  Maintaining a balanced, medium-bodied wine that is built to age, the fruit dominant nose is loaded with notes of dark red fruit, currant and fig.  The palate leads to more dark fruit with subtle hints of tobacco and earth.  The tannins are present and become more prevalent on the long and lingering finish.  Although it is drinking well in its youth, those that choose to cellar our 2019 Petit Verdot will be rewarded by this extra bottle age.
