Tasting Notes
Right out of the bottle this really pops with juicy red currant and pomegranate, but candidly I'm much more taken with how sultry and perfumed this becomes the longer it sits, with savory notes of olive tapenade, pine needles, and leather developing slowly over 20 minutes in the glass. This is by no means a blockbuster red, and frankly it's better for it. Think of it as Cabernet Franc for Pinot drinkers, with a super complex bouquet that pivots effortlessly between vivid red fruit and earthier bass notes, with delicate, filigree tannin that lingers effortlessly on the palate. Another wine that is in really ideal place for my taste, the structure perfectly polished and the fruit still fully intact, and I'd drink it over the next couple years, ideally with some boeuf Bourguignon
