Tasting Notes

This has a very flamboyant nose of spicy tropical fruit, with notes of papaya, mandarin, and  mango chutney, accented by a really attractive whiff of pine needles. The fear with Petit Manseng made in a dry style is that the wine will be overpowered by oppressive levels of acid, alcohol, or a combination thereof, but this toes the line of excess really deftly. It's bright but it's weighty, it's got lovely structure but it's not parching or blousy. When you decide to drink this is going to depend entirely on what you want out of the wine: if you love the vibrant, tropical fruit then now is definitely time, if you want those spicier, resiny flourishes to take center stage, wait another 3-4 years

Food Pairing

Ought to be splended with Indian food, for some reason Saag Paneer has a good ring to it.
